Scripture References: Why I need a Savior
1) Because we are all sinners:

For all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God and His standard of righteousness (Romans 3:23)

There is none of us who is righteous, no, not one (Romans 3:10)

We are all born sinners and our lives shaped in iniquity (Psalm 51:5)
2) God sees our sin. We can't hide what's in our heart from Him.

No one can hide from God. All things are naked and open before the eyes of He who judges us. (Hebrews 4:13)

Adam hid from God when he sinned and man has been trying to do the same ever since (Genesis 3:8)
3) God will judge us and our sin:

For the wages (consequences) of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23)

Because of one man (Adam) sin and death entered into the world and so, we are all sentenced to death because we have all sinned (Romans 5:12)

Once we die, we stand before God to face judgement for sin (Hebrews 9:27)
4) God loves us even though we are sinners. He doesn't want to judge us for sin so He sent Jesus

For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son as a sacrifice to pay for our sin (John 3:16)

God did not send His Son into the world to condemn us, but to save us (John 3:17)

God showed His great love for us in that while we were sinners, Jesus died for us (Romans 5:8)
5) Jesus is the only person who can save us from sin

"I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me" (Jesus - John 14:6)

There is no other person who can save us. There is no other name to call upon other than Jesus (Acts 4:12)
6) God's salvation through Jesus is available by repenting from sin and asking Him to save us

Unless a man is re-born (born again) through faith in Jesus, he cannot enter into heaven (John 3:3)

If we would say to Jesus " forgive me for being a sinner, I turn my life over to you and accept you as my Savior. I confess that you died and rose from the grave to save me.." God hears, forgives us and saves us. (Romans 10:9)

Jesus promised not to reject us if we come to Him in sincere repentance and according to His word (John 6:37)
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him. and will sup with him, and he with Me"
